Canon Character Information
Appearance: Adrien is a rather attractive young man with blond hair and green eyes. Heâs toned from his fencing lessons and attractive enough to work as a young supermodel, not only for his dadâs fashion line, but in many other advertisements as well.
History History can be found here.
Personality: Adrien Auguste is unfortunately repressed and reserved. It isnât his real personality, however, but the face heâs always needed to present when representing the Auguste family. He is calm, but warm-hearted, kind, and very compassionate. Despite having a decent amount of fame heâs always been fairly humble. He holds pride in his achievements, but isnât one to brag. Even though heâs not fond of his current lot in life, he takes it in stride and keeps going, knowing that he does have the chance to really be himself- when he takes on the form of Cat Noir.
As Adrien, though, his fatherâs strict rules and overall absence has left him feeling rather lonely. He doesnât have all that much time to do what he wants between school, fencing, Chinese lessons, piano classes, and photo shoots. His best friend, Nino, has also been banned from visiting his home after Adrienâs father decided Nino is a bad influence on Adrien. Adrien knows that he canât really disobey his father without causing a lot of trouble for everyone, so he tends to bow his head and obey. Itâs made clear, especially when Adrienâs birthday comes up and he has Adrienâs assistant pick out a present for Adrien for him. He seems to even disapprove of shoeing much emotions in general, at one point telling Adrien that Adrien has had âenough emotions for todayâ before sending him to his room even though Adrien was just trying to warn his father about being in danger. Like his father, his assistant Nathalie keeps a cold and professional attitude when dealing with Adrien, which keeps him from feeling comfortable confiding in her.
This lack of a connection to someone at home has helped Adrien grow close to his kwami, Plagg, despite often feeling frustrated with him. Plagg is lazy and gluttonous, and not the most upstanding or honest, though he does care deeply about Adrien. Plagg is the only person Adrien confides in aside from Nino, and even with Nino, Adrien has only been able to say so much about his life. He doesnât dare complain to Nino, not wanting his friend to feel bad for him or worry about him, though he does seem to share his complaints with the kwami. Plagg, meanwhile, is also willing to try to do something to make Adrien feel better.
As Cat Noir, Adrien really lets himself go all-out. Heâs (dare I sayâŠ) cheesy, and has enough puns at the ready to give even the greatest linguistpaws pause. He acts excessively cocky, though heâs also not afraid to take some teasing. He is outgoing, flirtatious, and lets his emotions show much more than he does normally. Heâs still the same kind and caring person, and because of this heâs not afraid to completely be himself as Cat Noir. His father canât judge him, and acting as he pleases wonât trace back to his civilian persona or his fatherâs company.
While more tolerant of it in his civilian persona, as Cat Noir Adrien has little patience for people like his classmate Chloe, who is the snobby kind of rich kid that is obsessed with things like expensive clothes and hair and jewellery, haughty, prideful, and entitled. Heâs often shocked by her behaviour and seems to be just barely willing to put up with her, either as Adrien or Cat Noir.
Adrien can also have quite the temper when pushed, however, even then he can usually refrain from letting it cloud his ability to think and reason. It is rare for him to get so emotional or speak so freely when not Cat Noir.

Third Person: Adrien wakes up with a bit of a groan and looks around. Itâs unfortunately not his first time waking up with no memory of how he got where he is. Seeing that heâs transformed he quickly checks to see that he has his ring, and then finds Plagg sleeping in his pocket. Only then does he let out a sigh. It seems strange that he would be on a boat in front of a strange city, but as he looks ahead at least thereâs people he can question. After checking on Plagg once more, he does his best to look like a normal scared teen as the boat pulls up to the shore. It doesnât look like itâs going to be extremely simple to return home.
